Najiba's pregnancy after seven years
A student named Najiba found the Burdwan studio on Google after seven years of trying to conceive. Mallika tells this story with care — exercise is not a fertility cure.
Najiba contacted Mallika after seeing the gym listed on Google. She had been trying to become pregnant for seven years, had PCOS, and her doctor had spoken about IVF. Mallika's answer was not a miracle claim. She offered food-habit guidance and exercise, asked her to give that path a year to a year and a half, and said IVF could still be considered afterwards.
About a year later Najiba called: the test was positive. Mallika has said she may have been even happier than her student that day. Najiba later sent a short video, which Mallika has shared on her Instagram with the student's participation.
Mallika is explicit about the limit: she does not know how much the exercise helped. Medicine had not been enough for seven years; pregnancy came after this period of training. Correlation is not a promise that yoga treats infertility. Anyone with PCOS or fertility questions needs their own clinician. This page exists because it is part of how she understands her work — patience, not a guarantee.
