Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Body Care by Mallika (“Body Care”, “we”) handles personal data when you use https://bodycareglobal.com, book a class, create an account, or pay for a seminar, course or membership.

What we collect

• Identity and contact: name, email, phone number (including WhatsApp numbers used to send a class joining message).
• Account data: login email, hashed password (held by our auth provider), profile name and role.
• Bookings and purchases: class or product chosen, sitting time, order amounts in the original currency, payment status.
• Messages you send through the contact form.
• Technical: session cookies required to keep you signed in (see the cookie policy).

We do not ask for health diagnoses as a condition of booking. If you volunteer medical information in a message or class, treat that as correspondence, not a clinical record we are qualified to hold as a hospital would.

How we use it

• To run the class, course or membership you asked for — including sending a confirmation and, for demo classes, a WhatsApp joining message.
• To take payment and keep an order record (access is granted only after a verified payment event, never because a browser said “success”).
• To reply to messages and to administer accounts.
• If you allow analytics cookies, to understand which public pages are used. Analytics is off until you consent, and only if a measurement id is configured.

Who we share it with

Processors who run parts of the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Razorpay (payments), and YouTube when a lesson or public clip is hosted there. Email delivery runs only if an email provider is configured. We do not sell lists of students.

The founder may also keep a spreadsheet copy of registrations or CRM rows when that sync is switched on — that sheet lives in her Google account and is operational, not a second public website.

Legal bases and India

We process data to perform the contract you enter when you book or buy, to run a legitimate studio (accounts, fraud, capacity), and — where the law requires consent — only with that consent (analytics cookies; marketing we do not currently automate from this site). India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 also requires notice and rights of access and erasure; use the contact details above to exercise them.

Retention and deletion

Account, order and entitlement records are kept for as long as needed to provide access, handle refunds, and meet tax or dispute timelines. You can ask us to close an account and delete what the law allows us to delete. Some payment records must be retained even after a class has ended.

Children

Mallika teaches a wide age range in the studio, including younger students with a guardian. This website’s checkout still expects an adult to create an account and pay. Do not create an account for a child under 18 without a parent or guardian.

International visitors

Classes are sold to women in India and abroad. Hosting and processors may store data outside India. If that is not acceptable, do not create an account; you can still read the public pages.
